Amplifier with Gold
Ring
18kt. Gold Wire; Stainless steel (spraypainted); Sterling silver (blackened).
2010
For the longest time I attempted to translate the aesthetics of this collection into a wearable ring, but to no avail. The designs always seemed lacking in dynamism. I finally decided to become a little more lenient in my approach to wearable. This piece is drawn from an amplifier component on a chip board. Unlike earlier pieces it is made from 1mm stainless steel wire, and has no danger of bending or distorting.
